The Plan
Need a home now? Walter Alan Homes can show you what is
available now or in the next few months, its rare for us
not to have homes available for near term move in. Have
time to build? If you have time to build, you should
start by looking at some of the plans we offer. If you
find the plan is close to what you are looking for, but
needs a little modifying, we can do that for you. Can’t
seem to find what your looking for? We have an approved
designer that can draw your home from scratch. Whatever
your taste, we can come up with the plan that’s right
for you!
Select a Lot
Do you already own a lot? If so, let Walter Alan Homes
visit the home site and help determine the best location
for the home. Other considerations are utilities,
drainage, and access. Don’t own a lot? We may have the
lot for you, or, you can pick a lot from one of our
approved communities. Finally, if you know where you
want to build, but need to purchase a lot, we can help,
as a licensed broker, we can search for a lot that will
fit with the home you want to build.
Secure Financing
We have approved lenders that can finance a construction
loan, a permanent loan, or as in many cases, a one-time
close on both. Consult our financing experts for the
financing package that works for you. Want us to finance
the construction? With an approved contract, Walter Alan
Homes can provide financing for the construction of your
home, the home buyer would the only arrange for a
permanent loan. Consult us for the best option based on
whether you are currently leasing or need to sell your
current house.
Select Your Home
After selecting the plan and lot, come visit our design
center to make selections, such as tile, wood, carpet,
accents and other specifics, like cable and phone
locations. If you can not see everything in the design
center you are looking for, we can send you to our
vendors for more options, just let us know how we can
help. Questions? We will spend whatever time is
necessary to insure your getting what you want in your
new home.
Finalize Contract
The sales contract will spell out in writing everything
specific about the building of your home. From materials
to site map to delivery date. The overall decisions you
have made on your dream home will be there for you to
review prior to signing. Included will be the sales
price, selections, plan and plan revisions, materials,
features, and approximate delivery date. Although the
paper work will seem endless, we will help you through
the maze and get you off to a good start. Once
finalized, we will break ground!!
